They were in the same trade paperback which I haven't gotten yet. I'm trying to find all the comics that were released here in English in places such as Amazon and Alibris.com.
I haven't seen a re-issued edition in twenty years.

Sadly, I wasn't around when the Smurfs aired in the 80's (I'm a child of the 90's. Blech.)... so I don't know what to think of the time travel episodes.
Why hasn't anyone ranted about how much Johann and Peewit suck? I hate those two sooooo much. Johann, Peewit, Dame Barbara, Princess Sabine, the King, and all those bodaggits can kiss my big blue behind. (blows a big, wet, smelly raspberry at the people listed above)

If by being yourself you mean latching on to an old kids cartoon and giving yourself a fake smurftastic name and parading as a smurf lover... Then youre doin just great! If you mean being yourself by telling people you think they are crazy for doing the latter then im totally on-smurfin-board!!
Besides if everybody where thereselves then there would be no so-called normal to compare against and chaos and indifference would be 'standard'.
Hope you all have a smurfing great time bein smurfin wierd.... u buncha smurfo's.
PS. Im not sick, im big boned

SmurfMunky,
You seem to feel you can come to a group and act all 'high and mighty', but you seem to have missed the point.
Groups like these are door ways to our childhood. The time of land forgot, so to speak. Go ahead and check out my site. See what the shows of the past have encouraged me to create in my artwork, and stories.
http://www.theravenchild.com/
I'm sure you will see that I personally don't 'latch' onto just the past, but encourge it to move forward.
I hope you will find your innerchild, and don't neglect it by trying to put down other people that are just having a little fun.
Take care! Raven Child.
PS. I'm also a Spiritual Healer, as well as a cartoonist and story writer. Why else would you think I name myself The Raven Child? (The name absolutly has nothing to do with Smurfs).

Hello Smurfymunky,
Have you taken your meds today? Your mom does know you're using her computer, doesn't she?
At least you've helped test the old adage about giving a thousand monkeys a thousand typewriters over a thousand years - but it's only taken you a few minutes to throw your feces all over the screen so I guess the postulation is still unproven...
Kudos, and BRAVO to your searing denigration of fictional cartoon characters - next stop: the deconstruction of Ronald McDonald!

Hello everyone, I am new here. I just wanted to join the discussion and point out my favorite episodes. Being a Brainy Smurf fan, all my favorite episodes involved him or the friendship between Brainy and Clumsy smurf. Excuse me if i do not know the correct title of the episode.
1. Dark-Ness Monster- Loved how Brainy lost his glasses and he had to rely on Clumsy to find his way. 2. Essence of Brainy- Even though Brainy is annoying, he still has his purpose. 3. The Smurfiest of friends- Brainy figures out how valuable him friendship to Clumsy really is.
other episodes I like are:
the smurflings the traveler pixeywillow pixies "a smurf, hey I am a smurf"

I was going to say one eps. but i cant decide after reading what everyone says. Bryant215 I loved the Smurfiest of Friends and all the others. Like the one on the moon.
One thing is for sure that little blonde kid and the other guy blew!

To be perfectly honest, I have a boring life and it amuses me to come into your forum and make sarcastic remarks. Ive got nothing better to do, so you be yourself and ill be myself.. everybodies happy.
PS
I met Ernie Wise when i was a kid, and he made a vain attempt to get me to say his show was great by asking me what my favourite TV show was, low and behold (never having watched morcombe & wise) i opted for the smurfs, to the amusement of everybody... except mr wise, who was obviously not happy with my answer.
Also one of the very few things i remember about my childhood is sitting on one of those one person moving smurf 'rides'.
So from a handfull of childhood memories 2 of them are smurf related.
I geuss we all loved the smurfs at one point or another. Im probably just jelous because i can't remember any single episode... or even character name for that matter. And as I have a terrible memory for this kind of thing I find it a bit wierd that other people can remember such detail. Maybe my memories of the smurfs are all fake and my childhood has been reconstructed by 'the man' and implanted into my mind, to cover up the truth about me being the second coming of Jesus.
But thats another thing alltogether.

SarrkyJunky, im not quite sure what you're jibber-jabbering about. But I pity the fool that touches my jewelry.
I dont know what relevants Ronald Mcdonald and his evil empire have. Ronald Mcdonald is not a cartoon charecter he is a tool of evil to suck kids into eating the ****e they serve them. "Please mummy can i have my party at Mcdonalds".... please.... its almost as bad as Disney.
Just you wait now jackson is a free man he'll be down the party shop renting out ronald mcdonald outfits to help with his grooming of young children because that evil corporation have already done the leg work.

I saw my first "Smurfs" episode in 1996, so I never saw the later episodes.
Some of my most favorite episodes are "Skyscraper Smurfs", "The Adventures of Robin Smurf", "Vanity Fare", and "The Smurfette".

Is that the one where the porridge pot got stuck on his head and he was wondering through the forest with a pot stuck over his head? I used to have this on tape but haven't in many years, but I still remember that image of Greedy with the pot over his head and I laugh and laugh every time I think of it. Funny stuff.
My favorite episode of the Smurfs growing up was always the Gingerbread Smurf, I think it was my mom's favorite as well because she loves gingerbread men. Then when the Masked Pie Smurfer came out that became my number one favorite and it still is to this day. The Gingerbread Smurf staying my second.
