How do I play Smurf Tetris?
Teris is a puzzle matching game. Try to arrange puzzle pieces into a horizontal line to get points (the color doesn't matter). As the pieces fall from above, rotate them by pressing the Z key, press left and right arrows to move acosss the screen. Press C to fall super fast!
When you fill an entire line on the screen it will disappear, moving the pieces downward.
Hints and Tips
The next puzzle piece is visible on the left hand side of the gameboard - plan your next move by deciding where to put the next piece ahead of time! Good luck playing Tetris, Smurf!

PLAY SMURF TETRIS
Use the keyboard to play this game. The Z key rotates your piece, and the left and right arrows move the piece horizontally. Hold X to fall faster. The piece will continue to fall quickly as long as you have the X button pressed. Press C to make your piece fall super-fast / drop.
Your highscores are kept on your computer (unless you clear your broswer cookies).
HISTORY OF TETRIS
Tetris has the popularity and worldwide success of classic strategy games like chess, checkers and solitaire. Yet Tetris is actually very young for such an entrenched game - and it's also a videogame! It was invented in June 1985 by a Russian, Alexey Pazhitnov, at the Moscow Academy of Science. A puzzle matching game, the videogame attracted fans of strategy and thinking games as well as standard videogame fantatics. In July 1986, Apple II and Commodore 64 versions of the game were created - and the world outside of Russia got to experience Tetris for the first time. Although the game was entangled in legal battles for many years, an international sensation was born, and the game has been ported to pretty much every computer / smartphone / videogame format ever invented.
