Jonathan Winters was interviewed about his role as Papa Smurf and this is what the comedy legend had to say...

Jonathan voiced Grandpa Smurf on The Smurfs Cartoon TV Series (by Hanna-Barbera) and Papa Smurf in The Smurfs Movies 1 & 2.

Jonathan met his wife, Eileen Schauder, in 1948 and married her one month later. They were married over 60 years - until her death in 2009.
