When Papa Smurf becomes stressed out and frustrated, he takes a vacation away from Smurf Village, but trouble hits the village when he’s not around.

Papa Smurf: I have no time for your suggestions! This experiment is the most crucial and you, Brainy Smurf, are taking a toll on my schedule! And my patience!
Clumsy then enters with basket full of purple sweet berries.
Clumsy: Uh, howdy, Papa Smurf! I brought you some sweet berries for your experiment!
Papa Smurf: Very good, Clumsy! Just put it on the table!
Clumsy: Uh, okay!
So, Clumsy went to do just that (unintentionally bruising Brainy's right hand in the process).
Brainy: (waving his right hand frantically) OW!
Clumsy: Whoops! Uh, sorry, Brainy!
Brainy: (angry) Thanks a lot, Clumsy! I'd be sure to remember you if I need a helping hand!

Smurfette: Oh, Papa Smurf. Do you have a minute?
Papa Smurf: Not now, Smurfette! I'm in the middle of something!
Smurfette: But it's your health, Papa Smurf. You've been working in your lab all day for your latest experiment. You've got to take it easy.
Papa Smurf: But I can't take it easy! I have an experiment in progress and I must not be disturbed! (shuts his window door, bewildering the other Smurfs)

Brainy: Now what?
Smurfette: We'll just give him a massage.
Hefty: I'm way ahead of you, Smurfette!
Hefty enters the lab and grabs Papa Smurf. Then, brings him outside, enters his house (with exercise equipment), puts him on a massage table and gives him a massage.
Papa: Hefty! What in smurf are you doing?
Hefty: Givin' you a massage, Papa Smurf! You need to relax after a long day's work!
Papa: Then, what about my experiment? You were supposed to wait until I was finished!
Hefty: Nope! No more talk about experiments! Just relax and let your mind drift.

Bashful then enters to look at Papa Smurf's face turning purple when enraged (a Smurf equivalent of a human's face turning red when enraged).
Bashful: Uh, Smurfs... I think he's turning purple as an infected Smurf.
Brainy: Bashful, Bashful, Bashful, this is not the time for jokes.
Smurfette: Brainy's right!

(Except for Grandpa, all the Smurfs keep silent at once and look at the Smurf leader, shocked.)

Grandpa: This kind of talk is the reason why you need to let it go.
Papa: So they can disobey my orders and continue to give me unnecessary relaxation time?! I told them to leave me alone to my work without disturbing me for any reason! And as for Brainy...
Handy: Uh, Papa Smurf... I don't mean to be negative, but you're kind of acting like a control freak.
