Vintage Super Smurf Bag (BP Australia 81)

Hi KBee, Welcome to BlueBuddies!

Thanks for sharing the photos of your smurfy bag. Here's a little more information about it...

Several different bags of this style came out in Australia in the early 1980s. Your "Super Smurf" bag also came in the color red. Some more designs of this Smurf Travel / Sports Bag include "Bag of Smurfs" and "SMURF SPORT". They are all marked "BP Australia 81".

There is the "Life is Smurfy" bag from 1979 and "There's a Smurf in My Soup" bag from 1983 that are the same fabric and style. They are also marked BP Australia.

We don't see these Smurf bags very often for sale and especially in the great condition your bag appears to be in.

This Smurf Bag is currently for sale on eBay right now. It is Smurf canvas tote bag or book bag marked BP Australia 81. It is priced at 50 Australian dollars which is about $35 US dollars.

Your Smurf bag is worth more than the BP Australia tote bags. It would also sell for more in North America or Europe because we don't come across BP Australia items as frequently.
