Has anyone ever written an Ultimate Universe fanfiction? I mean, at all? Sure there's fan art on the idea but no actual fanfiction. In case you don't know what an "Ultimate Universe" is, here's a TV Tropes link: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/UltimateUniverse
Has anyone thought of doing that with the Smurfs? I mean, it seems like an interesting idea.

Empath: The Luckiest Smurf is something along those lines. It was originally based on the cartoon show with elements from the comic books, but is currently now a mix of the cartoon show, the comic books, and the live-action film series with some PVC toy characters thrown in.

Uh... Vic! Click the "fan works" tab and tell me what you see? Because I THINK TV Tropes disagrees with you!

I'm not sure if mine would qualify as an Ultimate Universe story, either... Because mine includes a little bit of Harry Potter in it as well... (just a tiny bit, so far, but it still has some Harry Potter themes in it)
But the main reason I made that mash-up was because, when I read that book I had about the history of the Smurfs, I noticed that there was mention that Smurf essence was a key ingredient in the making of an object called the Philosopher's Stone.... Which happens to be one of the first magical objects that is critical to the plot of the Harry Potter series.... And I remembered that it was supposedly Albus Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel who were the first ones to achieve its creation... But I also reminded myself that to get the essence of a Smurf in the show, Gargamel used to try to boil them down, or use some other inhumane methods (which could be dangerous to the Smurfs)... Realizing that Dumbledore was nowhere near as power-hungry or cruel and abusive as Gargamel is, I decided to create a plot that would lead up to my character assisting Flamel and Dumbledore with the discovery of a more humane means to acquire Smurf essence. But as for it being an Ultimate Universe? I don't know if I'd go that far with it...
-------------------- I may not always have the answer, but when I do, I stick with it! My fanfic: http://bluebuddies.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?/topic/1/3803.html Submit art for the story: http://bluebuddies.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/1/4000.html#000000

This TV Tropes page explains what a Patchwork Fic is.

Probably Canon Welding, if you're trying to fuse the Smurfs universe with the Harry Potter universe.
