Here is a role play that I thought we could make where the smurfs discover cellphones. Also I'm using the characters I created.
Papa Smurf: Ahh, what a peaceful, quiet day.
Handy Smurf: Eureka!
Papa Smurf: I wonder what Handy's up to.
*The smurfs circle Handy's house.*
Hefty Smurf: What's up Handy?!
*Handy walks out of his house*
Handy: I have created my greatest invention!
Smurfs: Ooohhhhhhhhh Aaaaahhhhhhhhhh.........
Hefty: Well what is it?
Chloette: Yeah! What is it?
Handy: I'll show you.
*Handy hands one of his inventions to Hefty*
Handy: Ok, now flip the cover up like this *flips phone cover up* and click the contacts button and pick Handy.
Hefty: *Presses Handy and gets startled by a ringing sound* What's that!?
Handy: This is called a Smurf phone. You can talk to people in any part of the world with it. Now I just pick the talk button and we can talk to each other. Try going out into the forest and talking to me Hefty.
Hefty: Ok. *Walks away*
*A few minutes later*
Hefty: Handy, are you there?
Handy: Yup, I can hear you perfectly.
Papa: Amazing, simply amazing.
Handy: It can do more than just talk to people, you can also send what are called text messages. You just type a message with these letters and press send. Then the person you chose will receive it. Simple. Oh, and you can also listen to music on here. Similar to how you can on Chloette's i pod.
Chloette: That's Smurferific! Or Tersmurfic. I can't get used to how you smurfs speak.
Tuffy: *Steps up* Awww, you got it right the first time.
Chloette: Um, ok.
Hefty: *just got back to the village* This is really cool Handy.
Chloette: Did you know that humans invented that a long time ago.
Handy: Oh. Must have been a coincidence. Heh heh heh.

Handy: Thanks Animator and Sportette. Clumsy, a coincidence is-is, well I don't know how to explain it.
Clumsy: Golly, that's okay Handy. What's that your doing to that smurf phone?
Handy: *putting something on smurf phone* I am putting a water-proof case that I made on it. I plan to throw it into the water and-
Brainy: Handy, Handy, Handy. You just want to talk to Marina that bad?
Handy: Yes, what's wrong with that?

Handy throws his cellphone in the water and soon finds out that all he can hear are bubbles.
In the meantime Gargamel has found Handy's cell phone transmitter mast and is busy chopping it down with an axe as it's a blight on the landscape, even if they've tried to make it look like a conifer tree. XD
