You animated Grouchy perfectly. It looks really good. Love The Masked Smurf and his pie throwing antics. Wish there was more of it throughout the comics and series. Well done on the comics. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

@masked smurf: Take the time you need with those events. I too often fall behind on drawing and posting my stories because of commitments and tasks throughout the day outside the Village.
(So why am I so loco as to work on two stories at the same time?)
Those outside commitments include looking for work, helping out at my new church, and applying for graduate school. My Smurf art, first introduced here on BlueBuddies, and the smurfy response to it from day one helped pave the way for me to go back to school.

Here's a colored-in closeup from my story-in-progress "Brownie Points":
In my fan stories Vexy has brown hair, but in "Brownie Points" she decides impulsively to dye it back to black, as it was in her Naughtie days and as she officially is. When the very unsmurfy response from the other Smurfs drives her to tears, Grouchy kisses her on the cheek to comfort her. ![[Enamored Smurf]](graemlins/Enamored_Smurf.gif)
"Brownie Points" was conceived around Christmas time as a way to laugh at myself and my choosing to recolor Vexy's hair from black to brown. Some devoted Vexy fans were upset that I did so, while others said this is exactly what Sony Pictures should have done in the film. To show the brunette Vexy fans I'm listening and that I don't take myself too seriously, I wrote this story.

I have in my sketchbook a rough draft of a Smurf Sampler (one-page gag comic) called "Chimney Service" starring Sweepy as he calls on Vexy's hut to clean her chimney as requested. And ee smurfs in a bituva Cockney eksent, ee does!
He calls Vexy on a telephone she built behind her house (actually a rubber tube with receivers on both ends) posted with a sign reading "Ring for Vexy". Sweepy rings a little tinkle bell to call Vexy, who wakes up from a nap in her hammock and picks up a cell-phone shaped receiver above her head. Instead of entering through her front door, he smurfs down the chimney.

Yes he will. I just looked up the article on Sweepy at Smurfs Wikia to refresh my memory on how he looked on the TV series.
As for the rest of the short story "Chimney Service":
Vexy lets Sweepy do his job while she leaves her hut by jumping out the upstairs window and hopping down to the ground. (She is very athletic and agile in my stories; her home is basically a gym.) When she realizes she left her house keys inside, she knocks on the door to be let back in. The door opens with tons of smoke pouring out, Sweepy pokes through holding the keys. "Forgot these, milady?" he tells Vexy. While she is shocked at the mess he's making, Sweepy reassures her "No worries, Vexy. I always clean up afta meself, I do! Ta-taaa!"
Smurfette notices her best friend's shocked face and remarks, "Ooh, you're not used to the mess he smurfs when he's doing his job." Vexy replies "It's not that, Smurfette. I'm not used to being called a lady. I LOVE it!!!"

It sounds wonderful, Richrod. This is awesome, keeping Sweepy alive. He may have only appeared in one episode, but we can keep the Sweepy adventures going here.

Well done, SmurfFan! Do you use a generic Smurf as a base or template for your drawings? They seem to have similar poses and expressions, but are still very well done. And are you using Microsoft Paint or similar software?
When I first began drawing my brown-haired Vexy, I used Smurfette as a base, then dressed her up in Vexy's outfit, changed the hairstyle and gave her one eyelash per eye rather than three as a balance between her aggressive nature and her identity as a girl Smurf.
I've been sketching up a new fan story, "Girls' Day Out", where Smurfette, Vexy and Sassette have a girls-only trip to the banks of the River Smurf on Vex's motorcycle, and once there Smurfette and Vex do what sisters and best friends often do: try on each other's dresses.

Really cool your SmurfFan82874 drawing Regarding min, after so many times against think ultimately will post my next story, and Shaney Smurf I have not thought of a good title it will be more Sweepy, Brainy, Clumsy, Masked, Farmer , Sassete, Snappy Lazy and Wild. And after that I'm planning a story with the protagonist and Sweepy Smurf as well as in the episode, saving the Smurfs in a very difficult situation!
