In June 2006 Warner Bros joined a chat hosted by the Home Theater Forum to talk about their products, and answer questions from HTF members. Paul Miller asked about The Smurfs, and got a positive response:
[Paul Miller] As a fan of 80s cartoons, is there any chance of The Smurfs coming to DVD anytime soon?
[WARNER BROS] We are working on The Smurfs and hope to release it in 2007.

Any guess on what month and day Season 1 comes out on DVD?
My guess is June 5
Then the next season comes out every three months.
If people hear any news write it under this topic.
Hard to believe this is ture. We get to watch "The Smurfs" again and own all the episodes to watch whenever we want.
It's a dream come true.

June 5 is my birthday ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif) so it would be a nice present for me. But so far however i have no idea when the 1st season will come out ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

Hi, everyone!
I hope that they come out, too. I've seen only a few episodes, but would love to see the rest. I feel so awful today, so my typing is a little off.
