Great Bouncing Icebergs (as Santa said in "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer"), That's one new photograph of the Smurfs. That's them in Central Park. (The scenery is real. Right?) Just like in that Macy's Holiday plush ad, Gutsy Smurf is Scottish, and wears a kilt and sideburns and a pom-pom on his hat. And golly! Papa Smurf, Smurfette and Brainy are the Bee's Knees, and how! Clumsy Smurf is one swell Smurf this is. Excited for Christmas Eve tomorrow? You bet! Just keep an eye out for the Holiday Smurf push from Macy's.

I just got a look at the new posters and I'll admit, I kinda like them. I think the character design could be better, though, but I absolutely love the New York setting. ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

I have never heard of Gutsy Smurf. I thought it was a new character picked for the movie.

I think he was created specially for the movie, Snorty Smurf (welcome!), for there wasn't any Smurf like him neither in Peyo's original comics (for the little I know) nor in HB's cartoons. ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

As a matter of fact, he is one of the new Smurfs in the film. He will be voiced by Alan Cumming. Gutsy Smurf is described as 'brave to a fault' in the synopsis. Like Braveheart, Gutsy Smurf is Scottish AND Blue. He wears a blue kilt, red sideburns and a blue pom-pom on his Smurfy hat. You will see him in the new movie.

Gutsy is such a promising character! I'm guessing he would be involving on some key moments in the movie!

They all look so cute in the new poster! Smurfette's shoes aren't as glittery in this poster but she still looks great.

Lookie What I found.. They are already gearing up for The Smurfs Movie with merch. This is a 2012 Calendar. It's release date isn't until Nov with the release of The Smurfs Movie DVD/Blu-Ray. Some ToyRus stores are getting New Puzzles in featuring the smurfs as well.

Nice find! Would've liked to have seen it for PS3, but I have a Wii and a DS as well so I will still get it, depending on which format it looks more fun to play on.

Holy Super Mario Brothers! A new video game! Sorry I don't have Wii or Nintendo DS, but my friend, Justin has Wii. So I think I would give it a try around the movie release. I'll learn Wii Fit and this new movie game.

Hi guys! I am gonna tell my bookstore, Barnes & Noble to pre-order these new tie-in books before my birthday (That's in May; about 2 or 3 months before the movie is released). And by the way Sassette, this movie tie-in book about Clumsy Smurf will be perfect for my niece, Ava. She'll love it!
