In the EMPATH universe, Hefty and Duncan aren't even related. Duncan's got this Scottish accent like Alan Cumming and Hefty's got like this Fred Tatasciore voice.

Gutsy is Duncan's nickname in the EMPATH universe. According to the Reporter's Inside Stories account, Duncan was called this by Hefty because he kept standing up to Hefty whenever he needed to be called out, saying that Duncan must have "a lot of guts". Needless to say, Duncan doesn't like the nickname. Narrator, on the other hand, believes it's because Hefty in the 2011 Smurfs movie got the short end of the stick when Gutsy took over his usual lead character role, so it affected Hefty in the EMPATH universe to the point where he would call Duncan Gutsy to spite him.

Just retrace and modify. Works if you want things to appear just like they do in the comic books or in the cartoon show.
