A lot of people have mixed feelings about this trilogy. Some people fear because it is in CGI that the Smurfs might not look ok. Others fear the story might not be that good.

I say if the story is well thought out, and same goes with the animation of the CGI then the Smurfs might actually come out rather cool.

All will be for sure as soon as the first promo shot is public. Once I see that, I will know for sure if I want to go see it in the theaters or wait till video.

Personally i am curious about that movie, i never thought that The Smurfs will come to the big screen, i hope that movie makers will do their best to not disappoint any Smurf fan.

For some strange reason, I was imagining The Smurfs doing something like "Star Wars" for the trilogy.
