A while back I was flipping through channels at about 4am and I came across an episode of The Smurfs. I only caught the end of it but I remember the Smurfs were getting chased by some kind of a ghost that was half-human and half tree, and he was chanting something along the lines of "You put out my flame, I will bring the pain" over and over again. It struck me as being a bit disturbing and dark for a kids show. Does anyone know what episode it was?

"The Smurf Who Couldn't Say No"
Pushover Smurf gets arm-twisted into doing all the work his fellow Smurfs should be doing for preparation of the Foxfire Festival. Eventually, this arm-twisting even extends to Scaredy begging for Pushover to light the torch of the Foxfire since he got picked by lottery to go into this marsh where the Foxfire is. However, when Pushover tries to light the torch, he accidentally puts out the flame, causing this Marsh Monster to come after him, chanting "cursed is he who kills my flame, cursed is he who gives me pain". When he comes back to the village and Papa Smurf finds out what happened, he sends both Scaredy and Pushover back to the marsh to relight the Foxfire with a scroll that has an enchantment that calms the Marsh Monster down long enough for them to relight the fire. It is there that Pushover finally stands up for himself and doesn't allow any Smurf to twist his arm into doing anything again.
