This Chemist Smurf was a giveaway for only very special customers and has never sold in stores. This promo Smurf wears safety glasses and a cute white lab coat. Smurf pours from one beaker into a bottle... now that's the smurfy way to do chemistry! The tag attached to his leg reads, "BASF - The Chemical Company / SMURF (c) Peyo". Promo Smurf Figures.
Fafnir Dragon. Many Smurf fans think of this "Hoechst" Dragon figure as the dragon depicted in The Smurfs stories with Johan and Pewit, but this is not an official "Smurf" figure. This dragon was made by Schleich in 1991. The dragon is dark green with lighter green details, such as the antennae on the top of his head and the spikes down his back. There is another version of this dragon without the "Hoechst" stamp... and yet another version with red accents instead of the light green accents.
Did you know that this Schleich Dragon is part of the "Crazy Friends" series? Yes, it's true! The bendy friends included a monkey, bird, cow and dragon. While this may not be an official Smurf piece is it a fun piece to compliment any Smurf collection! |

INA Smurf. True blue Smurfs! These promo Smurfs are solid blue with only the eyes and mouths painted. The hats, clothes and pants remain unpainted.
