Jubilee Smurfs. The Jubilee Smurfs celebrate 20 years of Smurfs from 1965 - 1985! Each Smurf figure is gold stamped with a year surrounded by laurel leaves. Only one special Smurf was chosen to represent each year from 1965 to 1985. Collect all 19 Jubilee Smurfs figures! Schleich released these special Smurfs in a unique light blue package with a shrink-wrapped Smurf visible from all sides. Also included in each package are 4 different sticker stamps. The stickers are self-adhesive and super smurfy! All 19 Jubilee Smurfs are depicted on the package. The bottom of the package can be modified to be used as a stand-up display. The package is in German, "Die Jubel Schlumpfe - 20 Jahre Schlumpfe". The Smurf stickers "1965-1985 Die Schlumpf Jubelmarke" are also visible from both sides of the package. The Jubilee Smurfs are quite rare and very collectable, especially if still in the original package. Even the Smurf Jubilee Smurf figures are still very collectible without a package. The delicate gold paint (from the gold marking depicting the year on the back of the head) is often faded or rubs off over time. It is interesting to note that the years 1967 and 1968 were not included in the set.
