I hope everyone had a smurfy Thanksgiving!

I haven't had time to update the site much recently, but I thought I would add a picture from a new toy available at my local Wal-Mart: A Smurf watch! Distributed by WatchIt, this great little watch is a mushroom house which opens to reveal a tiny Smurf figure! The Smurf figurine is very tiny, but still has a huge grin on his face. I'll add more pictures of this in the coming months.

Look what Sassette Smurfling picked up!

What a great set of cards! It is some kind of game (I'm not that big a card fan, I don't really know how it works), but I'll digitize it all, along with the instructions, eventually (I'm in the middle of exams right now). The pictures on the cards are fantastic - amazing, in fact.

Smurf Christmas specials are on the way!

The Cartoon Network, the international 24 hour cartoon channel is showcasing two Smurf Christmas specials on Thursday, December 24, 1998! Don't forget to set your VCRs!

On a side note, Canadians are out of luck. Due to the power of monopoly and restrictive laws, Canadians cannot receive the Cartoon Network. If you think this is strange, why not visit the CRTC website and leave some email voicing your opinion?

Long time no see, little Smurfs!

I'm pretty busy with school right now, so I haven't been smurfing around as much as I'd like to be. I know there is a "slow load" problem with the stories and games - I'll move them to a faster location when I can.

Wow! Look what Vic Twenty from Vic Twenty's Imaginarium sent us!

The Smurfs Nightmare for Color Game Boy scans! He sent us scans of the box, the cartridge, and the instructions! I've put the relevant images in the Games section. What fantastic artwork for a videogame box... Be sure to check out his site, little Smurfs! It is full of great image work...

Thanks again Vic Twenty!

I've done a little HTML work on the site, hopefully homogenizing the look of all the pages. In addition, I've actually fixed all of the links on the site. The two stories in the Storybook section are complete (and the graphics load relatively quickly), and the videogame links all work. Well, at least I hope everything works. There is always work to be done...

Card scans from The Smurfs Card Game!

Well, to be technical, only one card scan. I've put it in the gallery.

Vic Twenty has done it again!

Vic Twenty from Vic Twenty's Imaginarium painstakingly put together a beautiful HTML version of The Smurfs Nightmare for Color Game Boy instruction book. Check out the Games section to see his fantastic handiwork. Vic Twenty has provided a perfect set of instructions!

Truly well done, Vic Twenty, and much appreciated!

Tummy Huggin' Papa Smurf!

I've finally scanned in a picture of our Tummy Huggin' Papa Smurf! When you squish his tummy, he sings the Smurf song!

I bought him in Wal-Mart last summer.

This is a scan of The Smurfs logo that appears on some of the Canadian Smurfs merchandise, in both English and French. Actually, I've seen this bilingual logo on some of the Smurfs toys I was able to pick up in Minneapolis, MN, so it may have appeared across all of North America.

This scan is the back of the jumbo-sized Marvel Comics Group The Smurfs issue #1. I really love this picture, and I wanted to share it with everyone!

Vic Twenty prepared the version you see here, which is my favorite. It has a very realistic feel - it seems as if you're standing right in the village! Thanks Vic Twenty! The original image is located in the gallery, along with a full-sized version of Vic Twenty's creation.

To see more of Vic Twenty's artwork, visit Vic Twenty's Imaginarium!

As you can see, we now have our own domain name. In addition, new features have been added to the site, including a message board!

The stories section has been re-fitted and expanded! We've added five new stories! The other two stories from the previous site have been fixed for errors and had their images electronically processed for better viewing.

The gallery section contains an expanding library of Smurf art. We've added in a large Scratch'n'Sniff sticker collection, so check it out!

The message board is particularly exciting. We searched the internet for the best messaging system we could find, and we selected Infopop's Ultimate Bulletin Board. Post your smurfy comments, along with Smurfs for sale/wanted ads. I truly believe this message board will usher in a new era of smurfiness for all smurfkind, so check it out!

In addition, the number one suggestion made by visitors to the previous site has been implemented: the large images from the main news/home page have been reduced in size to facilitate faster loading. Larger versions of the pictures you see on this page are located in the gallery section. A lot of hard work has gone into improving this site, and we hope you enjoy it!

Whew!

I've almost finished the new HTML-ized version of the Smurf Rescue in Gargamel's Castle instructions (95% of what is online right now is the finished product).

Vic Twenty has finished the HTML (with graphics) version of the Smurf Paint'n'Play Workshop instructions in record time. As always - Thanks Vic!

On another note, it is becoming difficult to constantly update this particular page with daily news (the manual editing is time consuming) - so I will be shifting daily and topical news to the only logical place - the messages forum. This, of course, makes sense, and it will save a lot of time.

I'll announce the posting of both sets of ColecoVision instructions when they're completed - within a day or two hopefully.

Talk to you later Smurfs!

Here is a picture of Sassette Smurfling. Notice the cute overalls!

As promised, all topical and general Smurf related news has been moved to the messages forum. Enter any of the three forums and the latest news will be listed at the top of the page, under the large site logo.

I still have to finish editing the Smurf Rescue in Gargamel's Castle and Smurf Paint'n'Play HTML instructions. I'll hopefully have it all finished this weekend - but you can see the 'almost' finished products online right now.

Major changes are occuring...

We've added:

Pages 10 through 14 of the image gallery. Many other pages in the gallery received updates as well.

A new story, King Smurf.

A site makeover. The colors of the site are now consistent, and there is a nice old-school Smurf background logo.

We're also constructing a purchase section (it is not functional yet). When it is completed, we will have nice things to tell you.

A preview of The Smurfs for Sony Playstation ... with tons of pictures!

There are other fantastic additions to the site coming, as well. However, I don't like to jump the gun. But I think you'll like them.

I hope the chaos of all this transition and growth is not too difficult - please bear with us, it will be worth it!

Hello again little Smurfs!

It is hard for us to believe, but there are only two Smurf watches left. If you still want to get this watch, you need to order it right now.

In other news, Vic Twenty has been hard at work as usual, both here and at his own site, (which, by the way, has been recently updated). We'll be adding Vic Twenty's newest artwork and contributions in the near future.
