What's actually next, a new CGI TV series. There was some talk about it in the New Smurfs TV Series thread.

What I'd like to see next (probably won't happen), more merchandise, Lost Village, or not. I have all the Lost Village and some of the live action Smurfs plushies. I'd like more shirts. Only found one official one on Amazon I bought, most of them were fakes, and I made a DIY Smurfette shirt for myself by drawing Smurfette.

Smurfette, the truest smurf of all.

The new TV series is probably the next thing that's going to happen with the Smurfs. Their three recent cinematic entries were good, but now they need to return to their less theatrical, more episodic storytelling roots.

I wonder if the trailer for this series is coming out in late 2018 or early 2019.

You know, I actually wrote a fanfiction focusing on the next generation of Smurfs taking place in modern day as seen here:;f=1;t=003871;p=0&r=actu#000000

Not only are their completely new Smurfs but also legacy characters such as a new Papa Smurf and a new Smurfette! And don't just mean a new female Smurf, I mean someone actually bearing the name of Smurfette! This also taken place after Gargamel has wiped out almost the entirely of the original Smurfette! Think of it as the Smurfs... in the style of Sonic SatAM!
