Topic: The Year of The Smurfs Printed on the Bottom ???

Hi Smurfy Friends,
I just pay attention that New Smurfs people selling on Many Many of them, the Year printed on the bottom of the Smurfs is not the same as the year I saw in here (BBS). Most of them are only a Regular Smurf (Not like Baseball Smurfette somebody selling Year 1981).
Does anybody have an idea, are the also fake ? Regular Smurf ?? Fake ??? So where we suppose to buy the real one than : (

Tous, according to the Markings page:
The Year stamp, "refers to the date the Smurf mold was created".
So for the new Zodiac Smurfs, for example, the year printed on the bottom of the Smurf figure is (C) 2009. However, the Zodiac Smurfs were actually released in 2010 as part of the 2010 Smurfs series.

Peazjelly, thanks for your explanation. Means they're not fake. Because I saw it's really different 1 year only. But do you know what about Baseballl Smurfette 1981 ? Thanks
Btw, have you seen my Rare Smurf ? It was Sold anyway ; )

Tous, you are welcome. According to this message, there are big differences between the 1984 Baseball Smurfette and 1981 Baseball Smurfette.

Tous, I personally think the 1981 Baseball Smurfette is a fake. It doesn't look right.
