A scene that should have appeared in "Lost Smurf", following Brainy's mishap with spilling his books:

Very cute. I love how Sweepy (my favorite Smurf) is there and has some lines.

In the EMPATH universe, even with Brainy being his half-brother, he still doesn't "get the love" of his fellow Smurfs...except for Clumsy!

Aw, poor Brainy. He needs love too! [Smile]

Great work on this scene -- I just re-watched that episode and it fits in perfectly.

Of course. You don't want to change everything too much and get THAT far off base from the original. [Big Grin]

You're right, Shane. The fact is that I don't like to see Brainy being tossed onto the ground very much (though I admit he deserves it!! ). [Frown]

I know what you mean. I used to feel bad Brainy sometimes growing up. But when I watch the cartoon now, I can totally see he deserves it. In a real life situation it's best to just walk away from the person, sometimes the Smurfs did that. But, it in the cartoon world it is a funny gag to give the character who is annoying everybody a good toss. lol. [Big Grin]

Just a heads-up on that scene: it is part of an EMPATH-related adaptation of "Lost Smurf" which right now is tentatively titled "The Castle From Nowhere".

Yeah, and even Brainy's reflection in one of the one-page gags had to bean him with a hammer when it couldn't stand listening to him rant on and on about everything.
