A Smurfs wikia devoted solely to the cartoon show has been created. Here's the link to it if you're interested in creating articles for it:

Amazing! Surely this will make research easier for fans who weren't around during the show's original airing.

Hullo, Vic George, congratulations for your Wiki dedicated to HB Smurf cartoons. I hope this also will add many things that Wikipedia itself might have forgotten.

Smurfology is the current version of the Smurfs Cartoon Show Wiki, which is where you'd want to go now. So far it's been me and PVC Blue who have been at work making it flourish.

I remembered there's a piece of classical music theme used in the cartoon soundtrack. It's Stravinsky's "The Firebird" (Introduction) and it doesn't appear in Wikipedia's list. It's heard in "The Smurf's Apprentice", when Clumsy helps the other Smurfs playing the bullfighter against Azrael.

I've got a page on Smurfology called "Smurfs (race)" where it talks about Smurfs as a group of people, which is a rather challenging page to write. Please read it and tell me what you think.

A new page for the Smurfology site that I thought might be of interest: Jumping the shark

I would definitely say that season 9 is the prime "jump the shark" point. Smurflings, Grandpa Smurf, Scruple, Wild, Nanny, Smoogle, are all valid. But are good additions in my opinion. Season 9 clearly killed it. I remember turning on the Smurfs during season 9 to give the show another chance, this is after not watching regularly since late season 6. I remember being pissed off at the whole time traveling plot and didn't want to watch the show again at that point. A shame really.
