Heheheh, well, I'm not called Cheeky for having 4 big blue smurfy cheeks y'know
I love him really
Papa Smurf, a smug?? Hmmmmm... I don't think so. Oh, by the way, very cool picture of Papa, Vic!! His determined expression is terrific and I liked the power light effects very much. And about last pic, OMS (oh my smurfness)! NO!! That's not the Grouchy that I've always known (and loved too)!!! (LAUGH) ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

The first one is a bit too strong. I just like the way he stands there looking all pleased with himself lol.
Of course they're just tongue in cheek parodies. But the second one I will put down to Gargamel casting some extra unsmurfy spell on Grouchy.

It's still disgusting, adding words to make Papa Smurf seem like a creepy pedophilic perverted father. And by the way, I have written a fanfiction story about that kind of relationship WITHOUT having to go into details that are best left not known with these type of characters, but I didn't write the story to entertain a perverse notion: I wrote it to show how dangerous such a relationship can be even in the context of the Smurfs. At the end of the story, the relationship between Papa Smurf and Smurfette was destroyed when Smurfette wanted to rescue her fellow Smurfs from being trapped in time and Papa Smurf refused to let her.

Smurfette is an adult smurf, where Papa Smurf in one early story even attempted to romance her along with all the other smurfs.
My first picture slightly pornographic?, I suppose, just not in pictures. But pedophilic?, definitely not. I would never consider adding little smurfling Sassette in anything like that.
They're not serious pictures designed for any serious motives. Mine are just silly tongue in cheek parodies I would hate to see in actual stories myself.
And wow, you irreparably destroyed a good relationship between Papa and Smurfette? Did Papa smurf refuse to save his smurfs altogether? lol ![[Gargamel]](graemlins/gargamel.gif)

Yes, though it was done as an alternate timeline scenario within my EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf line of stories, where the events in the story do not have any major effect on the series' main timeline. In another story that I wrote that is part of the main timeline of events in that series, Papa Smurf's desire for Smurfette was turned into transforming him into an Incredible Hulk expy, where the only way to restore Papa Smurf to normal was by mating, and a decoy was used in order for him to be restored to normal. However, Papa Smurf realized at the end of the story that he was too old for Smurfette, and Smurfette tells Papa Smurf that she couldn't love him as anything more than a father.
Anyway, who said the relationship in the story was good? It was built on the grounds of Papa Smurf abusing his authority to get what he wanted, even forcing his little Smurfs to marry him and Smurfette. The other Smurfs eventually revolted and threw him, Smurfette, and even the child they produced out of the village. I never meant to give that kind of relationship a happy ending because such a relationship doesn't deserve it.

This is the picture I created for my story "Papa Smurf & Mama Smurfette", with the appropriate reactions from the other Smurfs:

I'm not a great artist and so I can't take credit for the drawing of the actual smurfs, as a few probably already notice.
The more simpler background designs in my latest story are obviously of my own creation, including any edits of the characters. Where I try to be more creative are in the short stories themselves ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

Well, cheeky you're great. And i'm not a good artist when it comes to drawing things but my idea are immense so many of it only to be drag away my poor drawing skill. It's been almost 2 years and i don't have a thing to post in this topic. I'll make the full use of my long holidays to keep practicing and at least have one post on this page.

Thanks Snaeha, but just do your best shot and I'm sure people will appreciate it even if you borrow (with respect of course). Without being cheeky this time around, nobody can ask more from someone else who gives it their best shot. I gave it mine
P.S. The background I used for my Gargamel joke was taken from a snapshot of an episode within the forest seconds before anyone arrived. I then colour-enhanced it and added the storyline in after over it.
Because I'm not a gifted drawer, there are lots of snapshots I could take in the future, whether it be background or character poses. It just takes good paint software such as the free www.paint.net which is like photoshop to really bring it all to life. But I don't mind adding in my own rubbish drawings in occasionally when I have to, so long as the story works ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

Vic, each Smurf's reaction on seeing Papa and Mama Smurf... is simply hilarious!! Even Brainy himself is disapproving that and poor little Baby Smurf looks so astonished !! Uh-oh. Not a good idea, Jokey, no sirree... OK, since the Smurfs got a new look in their coming movie, here we are:
How about Gutsy Smurf in the old comic/cartoon style?? ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Crocodiles & Hippopotamuses!! Now that's a comic book style variation of Gutsy Smurf! I like how you drew it! He's just like when Peyo was still alive, creating Gutsy Smurf of course!

Actually, that isn't your version of the character, Raven Child...that is mine. I was originally intending for her to be the "hot potato at 542" like Flemeth's current appearance in Dragon Age 2, rather than just the prim and proper grandmother type. I also originally had her wearing red pants with darker-red boots to get across that my version of her character would just as well be physically active with her little Smurflings as Papa Smurf himself would be. In essence, my version of the character is more like Papa Smurf after going through a magical gender change, with her voice being more like Kate Mulgrew rather than Susan Boyd (Wynne of Dragon Age: Origins).
