I'd been looking at some Smurf drawings I made during the 80s and found this one with them as super heroes:
From above to below and from the left to the right:

Thanks, Oingo Boingo! My signature is below Captain Smurf Marvel and dates from "1984". Unfortunately the Smurfs were practically unknown in Brazil during the 70s, despite a Brazilian publishing company having launched their comics, but it didn't last very long. ![[Frown]](frown.gif) Our dear little blue chaps only would have success here by 1982, when the cartoon show was released in TV. So that I began to draw them exactly in this time. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Oh, thanks! When I first looked at the year, it was too blurry I can't tell what it says but, when you told me that, I now knew & can see how it said 1984.
So basically in 1982, you started drawing smurfs you're saying, eh?
If I was to time-travel "like on sci-fi movies" & draw smurfs in like the "Hardcore Devo" era (1974-1977), I'd be not so good. I might most mess up on his ears.
Perhaps, want to see what it would look like if I was "time-travelling" back to the past with a timewarping computer & drawing a smurf in the "Hardcore" era?

You're welcome. And yes, I got quite inspired just right in 1982 - I also began to develop some scene sketches of Smurfs in "Fantasy Island", which I used to watch then.
Do you intend to create a Smurf fan art based upon "Hardcore" era? How is this? Sorry, I really don't know very much about it... ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif) But I'm sure it would be quite interesting! ![[Astro Smurf]](graemlins/Astro_Smurf.gif)

Sammy, Grouchy Smurf has never deceived me with that bad-tempered look. Being one of my favs, I know perfectly that deep in his little heart he is a tender Smurf! That's a lovely pic of Grouchy with his new-found sister. And she's also very cute!
