(On the site http://www.happysmurfday.com I found a short cartoon featuring the Smurfs and later a kind of show named Celebrity Smurf Auction, where some famous people - Uderzo (Asterix) among them - homaged our little blue buddies at their own way.)

This year, besides the Smurfs, Madonna and Michael Jackson complete 50 years... And Burt Bacharach completed 80 in May!

One of my favorite Burt Bacharach songs, surprisingly, is the one performed by Naked Eyes in 1983 -- "Always Something There To Remind Me". It would be interesting to hear Burt himself sing that song.

Vic - I looked on YouTube and I found, besides Naked Eyes, Sandie Shaw (who had released that song in 1964), Dionne Warwick (sure...), José Feliciano and Lou Johnson as performers (among less known others), but not Burt himself.
