Lets all start an email campaign and petition them to bring Smurf Berry Crunch cereal back. It was the #1 cereal of all time I am sure if enough people inquire vial email they would have to, right. Kraft is the parent company of Post cereal and they have a suggestion website to submit requests and ideas. http://www.kraftfoods.com/innovatewithkraft/default.aspx

I found tons of videos on AOL announcing the 50th year of the Smurfs. They also mentioned it on the 6:30 news on a Spanish speaking station (Univision) as well. (In Spanish the Smurfs are known as "los pitufos".)
