The Smurfs and Smurflings also used sign language to communicate with each other when Brainy cast that impenetrable sound bubble over the village in a later episode.

Ooooh, I love that episode! I believe Laconia the mute Wood Elf made at least a few appearances in later episodes, including a special where she got married. (I never got to see the special, though. WAAAH!) I'm deaf myself, so I have been wanting to buy those episodes to add to my video library, if they are ever available for purchase! With any luck, someday I will be able to find them, who knows? ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Laconia made her appearances at least four times:
Smurfing In Sign Language - 1983
Stop And Smurf The Roses - 1984
Smurfily Ever After (special) - 1984
I'm trying to remember the title of one more episode in which we see Laconia's boyfriend Woody for the first time. *strokes chin* I'm not sure if this was the one where Brainy accidentally cast the "silence" bubble over the village, prompting the smurfs to communicate in sign language with each other...come to think of it, I don't remember if I have seen it yet! ^_^;;;

I downloaded the episode where you can see Laconia`s boyfriend, but i don`t know if it`s for the first time where we see him, unfortunately the title was cut so i can`t tell you what name of it was. But i remember that her boyfriend was carrying harmonica or something like that. The sound of that instrument was suppose to make everyone happy and kind for each other, but Gargamel accidentally put his hands on it. It was when Brainy sneaked into Gargamel`s house with Sassete to try it`s good power on him and turn him into good wizard which could be the Smurfs friend. If i remembred the title of this episode the description would have been much shorter. If i will find the title of it, i`ll let you know Tabby Tadavi. Of course if this is the one you`re looking for.

I've seen "Smurfing in Sign Language" and "Stop
and Smurf the Roses", but not "Smurfily Ever
After".

I would like to see the Smurfily Ever After (special) too! Is it the same length / time as the regular smurf episodes?

Ah, thanks Vega! I looked it up at "You Tube" website, but they don't have the episode. Where did you download it?
To Sassette: Yes, "Smurfily Ever After" is a 30-minute length, same as smurf episodes. ^^

I downloaded it from megauplad, unfortunately this episode is in polish language, if you want, i could try and find it in english version. But if you want to see it in polish version anyway here is the link: www.megaupload.com/?d=NH5F2CNA
This file is in rmvb format, so you will need real player or real alternative program to watch it. Best regards to you
Oh one more thing, this file is from website which is used for advertisment and for coaxing
