The Smurfs have been talked about in a lot of TV shows, movies etc... but here are some funny Smurf references in other Comic Strips:
Here's a cute Smurf reference from a newspaper comic strip - The Family Circus.
 The Family Circus
This one is from the comic strip, Monty. Who would have thought The Smurfs would be referenced in the same comic as Howard Stern!
 Monty
And here's another funny comic strip that Smurfy Steph previously submitted - thanks!
 Mother Goose and Grimm
There has to be more out there - does anyone have any other ones to add? ![[Cool]](cool.gif)

I don't get the Ziggy one. While the alleged "smurfhole" looks kinda like a mushroom house opening (but not really), there's nothing to indicate a smurf would live there. What's the yellow thing supposed to be, a smurf hat? Wrong color, if so. Thy guy is wearing a blue uniform but that doesn't indicate there are smurfs in the hole.
Never did like Ziggy's "humor"...

And of course, there's this reference that I found in a late 1980's Superman comic.

All of them are very fun, chiefly the ones with Family Circus, Ziggy and Mother Goose & Grimm. Ah, and the one with Smurfette in a burka is hilarious too! Well, this Woolite ad comes from a site I have already found before: it's not a comic strip but the humorous spirit is practically the same.

"Due to family values, Smurfette will not appear in this ad while her clothes are being hung out to dry."
And something about that Smurf burka just doesn't look right.

VicGeorge, the burka resembles a condom to me.

While it doesn't feature any Smurfs, this Fluffy and Mervin strip I drew does make a Smurfs reference:
(You never said I COULDN'T include my own comic!)
