Hello, Raven Child. I'm Amtraksmurf, the smurf person who loves the Smurfs and Amtrak combined.
Oh, I just ever so adore all three of your smurftastic stories and the sketches of the smurfettes! The smurfette sketches you drew are very smurfy, and very "haba haba!". The stories you typed are also smurfy, It has everything: Adventure, Drama, Comedy, Romance, and most of all; Tragedy. When I red the parts that are tragic, I just burst out alot of tears and cry(The parts that are tragic is the one from the story "The Smurfette Village", that everysmurf think that Hefty is dead after the Smurf Dam accident. The other parts is from the story "How Things Smurf", when the 10 surviving Smurfs had just lost all their love ones in the village by that deadly disease. It's so heartbroking for them.) Oh, just thinking those parts won't make me stop crying n tearing. Well, at least I fell better when I red from your lastest story with parts saying that new beginnings had just began.
You are very talented, Raven Child, very talented.
Now, About that "Please Note" from Ch. 14, is it true? The origin of the smurfs and smurfettes came from a magical plant? A human sorcerer is they're father and the earth goddess they're mother? The two gargoyles and the Garden and Eden
being there? Bust my buffers and smurfs! This is all too much! And I think I just know one ep. that is based on that chapter, which exactly is: Once in a Blue Moon.(I don't know what other eps. that are based from this theory) I think I understand this theory, alittle.
Soooo. Know what I think you should do to your stories? YOU SHOULD TURN YOUR STORIES INTO MOVIES!!! Why not?! You should take up your next career as a animation movie porducer, or send your stories n sketchs to WB HQ(Warner Bros. Headquarters). I bet smurffans around the world would like this [singingly]idea! Let me tell you one thing though; It's kind of hard for me to picture these in my head while I was reading these stories, you know like trying to imagine it as a movie in your mind, you know what I mean.
So I think you should think about this. It's such a smurfy idea after all.

P.S. Hurry with the next chapter, I'm dying to know what happens next!

Hi amtraksmurf,
Thank you for such an honorable review for my smurf fics. It would appear that I have a strong habbit to mix so many emotions in all my stories that I write, lol. That and I love to create new and original characters (and not just for fanfics, but original stories too). In my story the characters, The Smurfettes, I have created way back when I was 8 years old. Since then I have of course updated their appearance so they appeal to a somewhat 'professional' standards.
Most of the 'history' of the smurfs in chapter 14 are in fact made up. The episode, as you mentioned, is the one and only episode that briefly explains their background. Since not even Papa Smurf knows of their own history, I decided to make it up. It is also based on what some fans claim they have read in smurf comics (like the bit about an old sorcerer creating the first smurfs). Basically I wanted more details to explain the theroy of their existance so I thought up of a 'Garden of Eden' for the smurfs, the Gargoyles are an added touch being that those creatures are designed to protect...i.e. the Nonrandom Chirch in Paris.
I find it ironic that you would mention I should get into animation. In fact I am in a computer animation course right now. My goal is to get into character designs and possibly produce my own animated series, movies, ect...
It will be hard to say if my smurf story idea would be accepted, but it would be interesting if they were published into their own series, lol.
Again, I'm so glad you are enjoying the story. I will try to complete the next chapter soon and work on more sketches in the near future.
