Here I’ll be using my own Smurf, Coffee Smurf (me) and my own slightly different version, so just ask if you’re confused. Let’s Roleplay- 3rd person. Keep it kid-friendly, though- and please. Do TRY to use good grammar and punctuation...)

 -

It was late afternoon in the Smurf village. Everysmurf was getting ready for Greedy’s feast, especially Coffee Smurf. He loved Greedy’s smurfberry pies- and cakes, and cookies... like everyone else, he just plain loved smurfberries! While waiting for the feast to begin, he was sitting on the bank of the River Smurf, sipping on a fresh cup of coffee.

Meanwhile, Clumsy intends to walk over to Brainy's house for a visit, when suddenly... Something else caught his eye. He spotted a Smurf sipping a cup of coffee on the bank of the River Smurf.

"Golly! What's that thing he's havin' in his lap?", the village klutz pondered to himself. He then decided to go and visit the Smurf at the bank alone.

Coffee glanced up at Clumsy as he approached. His face brightened. “Oh, hey Clumsy!” He grinned. “Want to sit with me?”

(Thanks! I’m new, and usually people don’t reply this fast! [Smile]

(You're welcome.)

"Uh, sure." Clumsy replied as he sat down with him, smiling.

Then, when he saw Coffee Smurf taking another sip of his drink, Clumsy sternly asked, "What's that thing you're sippin'? It sure don't look like smurfberry juice to me."

Ariel(my oc) walks up. "Why, hello, there, Coffee Smurf, and greetings to you, too Clumsy, my dear brother!" she says with a smile. "Is that a cup of your famous smurfberry vanilla blend, Coffee Smurf?"

Coffee laughed. “No, it’s coffe, Clumsy,” he replied, before looking up at Ariel. “Yes, it is! I only have the one cup at the moment, but I can make more if anyone wants some!”

Suddenly, Lazy saw a cup of coffee and rushed up to Clumsy, Ariel and Coffee and asked, "Hey! What do you have there?"

Clumsy asked his sister, "You knew?"

Posted by Ariel author of The Lost Smurfette (Member # 5345) on 09-12-2019 09:44 AM:

Ariel chuckled, "Of course I knew, Clumsy... What do you think everyone has been smurfing about? Greedy's going to start letting Coffee serve this stuff in the dining hall. His culismurfy debut is tonight!"

She looked to Lazy, "What a surprise, Lazy Smurf! You're usually asleep by the construction site at the dam at this hour. The way you're behaving, I'm surprised that you don't know about Coffee's coffee, yet. You already act like you've had a cup! Heeheehee!"

Posted by Matthew Grisham (Member # 6579) on 09-12-2019 10:02 AM:

Lazy takes a cup of coffee and sips it, "Mmmmm! This tastes smurfy, Coffee! Now I'll never have to sleep while working!"

Clumsy said to Ariel, sarcastically, while crossing his arms and looking smug, "Somesmurf had a cup, huh?"

Posted by Coffee Smurf (Member # 7224) on 09-12-2019 10:08 AM:

Coffee looked up at his friends. “So you guys know? Greedy told me, but I didn’t think anyone else knew. Oh well- yes, everysmurf can have a cup!”

Brainy soon enters, asking, "What is he blabbering on about?"

Posted by Ariel author of The Lost Smurfette (Member # 5345) on 09-12-2019 01:56 PM:

"Brainy Smurf!" Ariel exclaimed. "Coffee Smurf is not 'blabbering on,' as you know, he is going to be serving his coffee to everysmurfy at Greedy's banquet, tonight. And I happen to know that you are one of the biggest fans of his smurfberry vanilla blend, aside from Papa Smurf, of course..."

Posted by Matthew Grisham (Member # 6579) on 09-12-2019 02:48 PM:

"Ariel", Brainy said. "I love you. I really do. But, what if they get extremely addicted to this stuff for weeks, after trying it out? What if Gargamel follows this example?"

Posted by Ariel author of The Lost Smurfette (Member # 5345) on 09-12-2019 02:57 PM:

Ariel looked at him. "Love you, too, Brainy... But it's really between Greedy and Coffee Smurf to decide. All we can do is be as supportive and understanding as we can."

Posted by Matthew Grisham (Member # 6579) on 09-12-2019 03:02 PM:

"We can never understand what Gargamel's feeling." Brainy argued. "So, how can we go along with this? Think of the Smurflings. What if they took on this fad?"

Posted by Ariel author of The Lost Smurfette (Member # 5345) on 09-12-2019 03:23 PM:

"I've actually smurfed a few tests on it," Ariel replied, "it's practically just tea compared to the cafine content in human coffee."

She holds a bar graph up, showing human coffee having 99% cafine to every cup, and smurf coffee at only 0.5% cafine to every cup...

"See?" She said, "According to the tests, Coffee Smurf's product is perfectly safe."

Posted by Matthew Grisham (Member # 6579) on 09-12-2019 03:56 PM:

"Well, okay." Brainy agrees. "I guess I could continue to drink Coffee's beverages, no matter how different they look, compared to smurfberry juice."

Posted by Coffee Smurf (Member # 7224) on 09-12-2019 05:55 PM:

Coffe listened to this exchange with amusement. “I tend to stay away from higher caffeine levels,” he said, “just in case. Eesh, Gargamel with even more energy...” He shuddered.

Meanwhile, at Gargamel's castle... Azrael is asleep while Gargamel is ranting about how much he hate Smurfs and their goody-goodness, as usual.

Okay!)

Azrael snuffed the air. He meowed, smelling something else. It was far off, but smelled familiar. He couldn’t tell what it was right away, though.

Meanwhile, in the forest, a surprisingly long way from the village, Ariel, Brainy and Clumsy Smurf find Coffee Smurf, working on an enormous batch of his famous coffee in a large cauldron over a fire.

"Wow, Coffee Smurf," Ariel said, startling Coffee Smurf as he wasn't expecting anyone to come his way until time to go to the banquet. "the smell of your coffee sure does travel far! Clumsy and I are half Fairy and we can smell it from the village..."

Brainy looked at her. "What does being half Fairy have to do with the fact we can smell the coffee from the village, Ariel?"

"Really?" Ariel raised an eyebrow at him, "So you obviously didn't read the documentary about the differences between Fairies and Smurfs I gave you for Christmas last year, did you?"

Clumsy chimed in, "Uh, nope! He smurfed it to me at our smurfday, remember, sis?" he pulled it out of his hat. "I actually like it... It explains a lot of why I'm so clumsy at being a smurf, heheh!"

Ariel nodded, "Then you know what being half Fairy has to do with you and I being able to smell the coffee from the village, right?"

Clumsy nodded back happily, nearly shaking his hat off of his head. "I sure do! You see, Fairies have inherenn--inherr-- Uh, they're known for havin' much smaller noses than us, Smurfs, so they don't have a smurfisticated ol'factory system... Means they don't smell quite like Smurfs can."

Ariel rumpled her twin brother's hat, "Exactly, Clums..." she replied. "So as half Fairies, Clumsy and I have slightly smaller noses and can't smell the same way you purebred Smurfs can."

Posted by Coffee Smurf (Member # 7224) on 09-14-2019 06:30 PM:

Coffee frowned. “Well, maybe you should start heading back to the village. We don’t want anyone else to smell this and come running.” He looked back at the liquid. “It’s almost done; I’ll join you in just a moment.”

Posted by Ariel author of The Lost Smurfette (Member # 5345) on 09-14-2019 06:44 PM:

Ariel smiled. "I can help with that," she said

With that remark, she raised her hand and cast a spell over the huge cauldron.

"There," she finally spoke after about a minute of total silence. "That should prevent the scent from getting too far out there... Though, Coffee, can I ask you a question?"

Posted by Coffee Smurf (Member # 7224) on 09-14-2019 06:49 PM:

Coffee nodded. “Thanks! What did you want to ask me?”

Posted by Ariel author of The Lost Smurfette (Member # 5345) on 09-14-2019 07:00 PM:

"Well," Ariel paused for a moment. "It's about all this," she gestured to all the coffee making equipment. "I'm not necessarily concerned about the tools required for this or anything, but I am a little worried about the location you picked to brew your coffee, Coffee... Your setup is smurfed dangerously close to Gargamel's hovel, you know... We're only fifty meters away from his front door..."

Posted by Coffee Smurf (Member # 7224) on 09-14-2019 07:06 PM:

Coffee looked over. “Well, I’m running out of places to brew where the others won’t find me- Nosey used to pester me a lot.” He grinned. “Besides, I’m careful enough. He hasn’t caught me yet, has he?” He was being a bit too cocky, but he’d already had three cups of coffee.

Azrael suddenly caught a whiff of something that made him very excited. He began rubbing up against Gargamel, excited by the prospect of Smurfs for dinner.

Anyone here?)

Posted by Matthew Grisham (Member # 6579) on 09-18-2019 10:36 AM:

But it all turns out to be a donut trap set up by Gargamel, with a hint of vanilla added to lure Coffee Smurf to his cage.

Posted by Coffee Smurf (Member # 7224) on 09-18-2019 11:55 AM:

Coffee followed the smell. “It almost smells like Greedy’s donuts,” he exclaimed. Unable to contain his excitement, he broke into a run and entered the cage. Then he stopped. “Hey, wait a minute!!”

Posted by Ariel author of The Lost Smurfette (Member # 5345) on 09-18-2019 05:09 PM:

Ariel, Brainy and Clumsy followed carefully behind, in the case that Coffee Smurf ended up getting into trouble.

"I knew there was something unsmurfy going on here," Ariel said. "Come on, you two. We should smurf close together and catch up with Coffee. If we don't, he could be in serious danger."

The two other Smurfs nodded, and they proceeded to follow Coffee Smurf deeper into the woods.

Then... They saw it. A cage was swinging back and forth over a human-sized doughnut.

Brainy started to panic. "What are we going to do, Ariel? If Coffee smurfs that trap, we're all smurfed!"

"Don't smurf about it, Brainy," Ariel replied, "I've got this."

With that, she tied her hair into a lasso and threw it over Coffee Smurf just before he could set off Gargamel's trap, and snatched him into the bushes where she, Brainy and Clumsy were hiding.

Ooh, Trolls style, I like it!)

Coffee yelled as he was yanked backwards, then whirled around. “Oh, it’s just you.” He breathed a sigh of relief. “Thanks... sorry about that.” He was a bit embarrassed.

(well, more like Rapunzel from tangled, but, sure! That would work for my OC, too)

Ariel, Brainy and Clumsy gave Coffee Smurf a quizzical stare.

"Wow, Coffee," Clumsy. "Even if I had smelled that, I don't think I would have smurfed it, myself."

Posted by Coffee Smurf (Member # 7224) on 09-18-2019 07:46 PM:

Haha, sorry- I love Disney but am planning a Trolls/Smurfs crossover rn lol)

Coffee looked sheepishly at his friends. “I’m sorry, I guess I was thinking about Greedy’s breakfasts.” He looked back at the trap, then regretfully at the donut.

"Uh, is somethin' wrong?", Clumsy asked Coffee.

Posted by Coffee Smurf (Member # 7224) on 09-18-2019 08:07 PM:

Coffee sighed. “It wasn’t very smurfy of me to almost get caught like that- I guess I feel guilty. You could have been captured too.”

Posted by Matthew Grisham (Member # 6579) on 09-19-2019 01:46 PM:

"Aw, it's okay. At least we're safe from... Gargamel." Clumsy replied.

Coffee shuddered. “Yikes.” That would’ve been bad.

Posted by Ariel author of The Lost Smurfette (Member # 5345) on 09-19-2019 07:13 PM:

Ariel, unraveling her hair from around Coffee Smurf, said, "Well, you're safe, now, Coffee Smurf. I'd say that it'd be a good idea for us to smurf back to the village. I'll go cast a quick levitation spell on the cauldron and we can go."

Meanwhile, back at the village... Dreamy is watching Papa Smurf pacing back and forth, waiting for Coffee and his friends to return, while Greedy is serving food and drinks to his fellow Smurfs.

"Papa Smurf, what are you doing?", Dreamy asked.

"I'm waiting for Coffee and the others to return, so he can help Greedy serve beverages to his fellow Smurfs", Papa answered.

Just then, there was a knock at the door. It was Coffee Smurf, followed by Brainy and Clumsy, with Ariel bringing up the rear with an enormous cauldron full of Coffee Smurf's famous concoction.

Coffee grinned, dramatically waving towards the coffee. “My fellow Smurfs, the smurfiness has arrived!!!” He was immensely proud of himself for making the coffee.

Ariel, using her magic, brought the massive cauldron full of coffee to the stand it was to be placed on.

Hefty and Gutsy followed behind pushing a wheeled staircase to the side of the pot, taking the wheels off when they had it positioned just right, so it wouldn't roll away.

Posted by Ariel author of The Lost Smurfette (Member # 5345) on 09-26-2019 08:27 AM:

Everysmurf raised their hands excitedly... Even Grouchy and Lazy Smurf were joining in as all the adult Smurfs in the village chanted: "Coffee! Coffee! Coffee! Coffee! Coffee! COFFEE!"

"Wow!" Ariel exclaimed. "Even in my life in New York, I have never seen so many people that were this excited about coffee, before."

Posted by Coffee Smurf (Member # 7224) on 09-26-2019 09:40 AM:

Coffee couldn’t keep a wide grin off of his face as he steered the cart around, making sure that every Smurf got a mug. “There’s more if anyone wants some,” he said.

(I’ve almost figured out what Smurfberry Brew tastes like, BTW

"I'll take one, thank you very much." Brainy said as swiped one of the coffee beverages from the table. He then tells Ariel, "I sure hope the Smurflings don't follow through this example. They're too young to understand the consequences of what coffee could do to them."

Sipping a small cup of her own Ariel replied, "Don't smurf your head about it... The little ones are all smurfing in their tree house with hot chocolate. It's a safe alternative for them."
Brainy looked at her, "But who's smurfing an eye on them?"
Ariel nodded and smiled, "Papa and I have taken care of it. Grandpa, Nanny, Papa and I are taking turns sitting with them while the others get coffee... Speaking of which, it's my turn now."

I THINK it’s like a blueberry/raspberry coffee, from Dunkin’s. The blueberry flavoring was almost there, the raspberry too much, so next time I’ll combine them and figure it out.)

Coffee sipped from his own mug and chuckled to himself. He loved making coffee, and he loved drinking coffee, and he especially loved making his friends happy with coffee.

(It’s hard, figuring out a flavor that doesn’t exist yet.

Brainy is still suspicious and thinking about Gargamel using their coffee as a magic potion to gain the power to locate where their village is at and capture all of the Smurfs.

Meanwhile, at the hovel of Enchanter Homnibus. Oliver, the teenaged servant of the place is brewing up a batch of coffee for his master.

After it has been brewed and two lumps of sugar were added to the mix, he enters the room with the finished coffee and serves it to Homnibus.

"Here's your coffee, Master. Strong, just the way you like it", Oliver said.

"Thanks, Oliver", said Homnibus, as he takes a cup from the platter and sips it, while he continues to finish the new recipe for his latest potion.

Homnibus smiled as he greeted Wooly, "Why, hello, there, little Smurf! Papa Smurf is well, I hope?"

"Aw, he's fine!" Wooly replied. "It's th' lil' critter he's worried about!"

"You mean, like, one of the animals is sick?" Homnibus asked Wooly.

"Yup." Wooly answered. "A lil' baby rabbit caught a cold, and he's stuck in bed at Papa's home."

Homnibus nodded, "Ah, of course... I'll go and fetch the cold remedy for you to take back with you..."

Homnibus got up from his seat and walked over to his cabinet full of cures, potions and spells.

Wooly watched. He’d always admired Homnibus and Papa and other good wizards, although the wizard work wasn’t really his thing. He liked sheep.

"Ah, here it is", said Homnibus as he got out the cure for the common cold.

Wooly grinned, hopping up on a stool to better take the cure. “Thanks! I’m sure Papa’s gonna want to thank ya too.”

"No problem. You take care now." Homnibus told Wooly as he left to jump on his bullfrog.

"Yeah! Don't forget to tell Papa Smurf I said "Hello"!" Oliver told Wooly.

Wooly tucked the cure in his hat and mounted the bullfrog. Waving to the humans, he replied, “will do, Oliver! See y’all soon!”

"Yee-haw!" he hollered as he rode off back into the Smurf Forest.

"I sure hope the baby bunny feels better", Oliver wondered.

"I hope so too", Homnibus agreed. "Now, I must be getting back to work. There's still a few more things I have to do before it's done."

Wooly arrived triumphantly back at the village. Hopping off of his bullfrog, he presented the cure to Papa. “Howdy, Papa,” He said. “By th’ way, Oliver says hello.”

"Well, that's very smurfy of him", said Papa Smurf. "Anyway, did you get the cure?"

"Yup!" Wooly replied as he got it from behind his back. "Here it is!"

“Ah, thank you,” Papa replied, taking the cure. He began walking. “I’m sure the baby rabbit will feel much better after this!”

In Papa Smurf's lab, Nat Smurfling told the little animal, "Don't worry, baby rabbit. Papa Smurf is coming back with a cure and your tummy will feel all better."

Papa Smurf enters the lab, remedy in hand, and carefully approaches the bunny... "Come, now, little one," he said soothingly, scratching the creature beneath the chin. "Have some of these herbs, they will help you to feel better."

The baby rabbit tasted the care and much to Papa Smurf's surprise, it worked. He was feeling like his cheerful self again.

Hi!)
Wooly watched from the doorway. He grinned as he looked at the bunny.

Suddenly, Ariel walks up behind him.

"Why, hello, Woolly Smurf," she said as Woolly stepped out of her path. "I see that the bunny has recovered nicely. I'll bring him back to the rabbit hole. By the way, Papa, it's your turn to smurf an eye on the other Smurflings..
"

She rubs the creature behind the ears. "Nat," she looked the little Smurfling in the eyes, smiling warmly. "Would you like to help me take the baby rabbit back to his warren with his family?"

"Sure!", Nat agrees. "Come on! I'll lead you to their home!"
