blue buddies isnt in that article. you should have got a mention papa smurf. it's about time to see the smurfs in print still..but 'comeback'?? Come on! Smurfs are forever!!

Second, Christine Rook writes "Hey, kids of the '80s: Your little blue buddies are back!" as the first line of her article, so I guess one could take that as a compliment. [Razz]

Third, USA Today does make use of bluebuddies.com...a picture, in fact. However, no reference to the the artist (Vic George) or source (BlueBuddies.com) is made. Astonishingly, the "PapaSmurf.org" logo was cropped out of the picture entirely. Excising logos and not providing source references is not sanctioned industry practice - I'm quite surprised by their behavior.

The Deputy Managing Editor of USA Today phoned me today to discuss the article and photo. Credit will now be given to the source site, bluebuddies.com. Vic George's work is now officially credited in the USA Today archives!

A new relationship has been forged and BlueBuddies.com looks forward to working with USA Today in the future with regard to all things smurfy.
