The new Smurf Figures have had different themes over the years (Marching Band, Soccer Team, Classic Smurfs etc...), I was wondering what theme would be fun for Schleich to make. They release 8 new smurf figures for each new year... what would you like to see?

Let's see if we can brain-storm a collection!

Here are the themes for the past years:
The 2009 Movie Smurfs (Smurfs in Film)
The 2008 Party Smurfs (Anniversary Smurfs)
The 2007 Native American Smurfs
The 2006 Halloween Smurfs
The 2005 Classic Smurfs
The 2004 Smurf Soccer Team (Footballer Smurfs)
The 2003 Lifestyle Smurfs
The 2002 Smurf Marching Band
etc...

Here are some of my ideas...

Fairy Tale Smurfs:
* King Papa Smurf
* Jester Jokey Smurf
* Princess or Queen Smurfette
* Blacksmith Handy Smurf
* Lazy Smurf as a Peasant
* Hefty as a Knight in Shining Armor
What about Brainy or Vanity? or Gargamel?

Maybe a Robin Hood theme with Maid Marian?...
remember Cool Smurf's amazing picture of Vanity as Robin Smurf?

What about a Superhero theme?

* Wonder Woman Smurfette
* Batman Smurf
* Brainy Smurf as Robin
???
(... I'm fondly remembering some of Squeaky's Smurf pictures, the Fantastic Four
and the Smurf Super Heroes).

ahh thats a cool idea Sassette!! I think robin hood is a good idea. What about celebrity smurfs like Elvis Presley?? That would be good too!

Maybe they could make Olympic Smurfs, like a polevaulter Smurf or a track-and-field Smurf.

And have you ever imagined Beatles Smurf figurines? Very cute, in my opinion! About Regular Smurfs, I wish Schleich made a new Poet Smurf model and a Clumsy Smurf one that wasn't tunbling on the floor, but standing and probably holding some stones from his collection. I'm sure it would be adorable! [Enamored Smurf]

How about Tourist Smurf?

He wears a Hawaiian shirt, sunglasses, shorts, and sneakers.

He comes with a laptop computer and a suitcase with different countries named on it:

Belguim: Where the Smurfs are originally from
USA: The Smurfs' cartoon and products
Germany: Smurf figurines
France: Smurf comics

Thanks a lot, Smurfy1For2! Now, I'm thinking of how interesting would be if Marina the Mermaid was a Schleich figure too! I don't know if she's an original character from Smurf comics or a HB cartoon creation, anyway she's a very nice one and I'm sure many of us would love a Marina figurine! [Enamored Smurf]

Ok. How about Greedy Smurf wearing a mask with a big bag of loot that has Smurfberries inside. And how about a Masked Pie Smurfer?

Squeaky I think they made some figurines based on HB so Marina the Mermaid would be great! And a Handy figurine wearing a diver's helmet!!

Cool Smurf, your Tourist Smurf is great! The suitcase with the different countries was a neat idea. If he was a real figure, I would have to have him!!!
