Other update again:
"But, Papa Smurf, who knows if this native plant shall really smurf as well as the sarsaparilla you are used to smurfing with?" Brainy interrupted again.
"It shall serve perfectly, Brainy, so don't smurf about that, right?" Papa replied half crossly.
The girls got back to take the tray at which the Smurfs had helped themselves. After they left, Mr. Roarke sat at his table with the Smurfs before him. Clumsy was feeling so comfortable that he realized to climb up the human's shoulder, where he sat on. Smurfette took the initiative of asking:
"Please, talk about your island, Mr. Roarke!"
"That's right, tell us!" seconded Hefty.
"Why do you call it Fantasy Island?" asked Vanity, without taking his eyes off his mirror.
"Yes, why?" added Dreamy.
"That's a long story, my friends Smurfs." He made a pause and continued:
"Fantasy Island welcomes people from every part in the world whose objective is making all their dreams and fantasies come true... Even the ones considered as impossible!"
"I HATE making dreams and fantasies come true!"
"Oh, c'mon, Grouchy!" Hefty got annoyed.
Mr. Roarke laughed discretly and said:
"Now that's your turn, Smurfs. So you live in a village, in the middle of a forest..."
"That's right! And our houses are made of mushrooms, you know?"
"And it's Papa Smurf who prepares the magic potions that help us very much!"
"We work at the dam which controls the big river!"
"Which is Smurf River!"
"I HATE Smurf River!"
Tattoo addressed Mr. Roarke, worried.
Mr. Roarke frowned, reflecting. That was true. A bungalow could serve perfectly for any guests - but not special guests whose height reached only 8 inches - or three apples tall, according to Smurf standard measure. Besides, a house full of Smurfs wouldn't be suitable at all, with human guests nearby the surroundings: the natural human curiosity could be harmful to the small blue people. Finally, he said:
"I think you all will get safer if you stay among the island inhabitants, Papa Smurf. The natives are very used to... unusual guests, and they have a very peaceful life in their village."
"I understand, Mr. Roarke, and many thanks for your care. I agree we had better stay away from your guests' view."
"Oh, but do you mean we must be kept away from you all?" Smurfette was disheartened. "I'd like so much to watch some views of your island..."
"Gee, and won't I see Julie?" Clumsy let his comment escape out.
"Please, be patient, you two", said Papa Smurf. "You seem to forget that Mr. Roarke and his assistants are very busy people who look after their guests' welfare, and that we smurfed here just by chance."
"Don't worry, we'll always be at your disposal for whatever you need", Mr. Roarke tried to animate them. "I promise you!"
"But how shall you know when we...?" Brainy was going on but Papa cut him off.
"I'm quite sure we shall do very well there, my Smurfs. And something tells me that Mr. Roarke shall know whenever we need him, too." The leader Smurf took a glance at the tall human in white and smiled. "After all, since this is Fantasy Island I won't be amazed if everything is possible here!"
Mr. Roarke repaid Papa's smile and stood up:
"Well, that's it." he said. "You Smurfs are more rested, so we can take you to the village right now. Tattoo, please go and ask for the car."
"Right, Boss!" The little human left the study.
"Car? What is your car like?" Handy Smurf was curious again.
"I HATE cars!"
Mr. Roarke cast a rapid glance at Grouchy while he was answering the inventive Smurf:
"You'll see it, Handy, when it comes here. And don't think I forgot your request for seeing the plane."
"I HATE planes!"
Handy couldn't avoid a mug, upset about Grouchy's remarks, whereas Mr. Roarke couldn't help a smile. Why, that little Smurf was so grumpy that he was even amusing!
Tattoo got back warning the island car was on the way. Papa Smurf reunited the Smurfs, telling:
"Well, my little Smurfs, come along, it's time to go now!"
"Is this village very far from here, Mr. Roarke?" yawned Lazy, who had been woken up unwillingly.
"No, Lazy Smurf, only about an hour and half route!"
"!"
So that's it! Bye for now...

Thank you very much, DEVO Smurf! And you are quite right (LAUGH) about Grouchy. If he does it all the time among the Smurfs, just imagine in an unknown land!
I've updated my story and tried to finish some pics so that I can post at least a big chapter after Xmas, I hope I'll manage to do it on time!
