If anyone's noticed, I felt compelled to take down Vic George's Imaginarium for personal and spiritual reasons. I'm also looking into removing all my Smurf-related artwork from DeviantArt.com.

I am personally feeling that it is not God-honoring, it is weighing so heavily on my heart that I can't ignore it. Also I removed all references to any EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf characters and stories from the Smurfs cartoon wiki site.

I'll really miss visiting the Imaginarium and re-reading those stories, Vic, but I understand that you need to do what feels right.
For whatever it's worth, I wanted you to know that the Empath stories and art works brought me a lot of joy, spurred my own creativity, and gave me something to look forward to during a time of uncertainty and frustration in my life (as did many of the other creative works on this site). I bet they did the same for many others.
Anyway, just hope you aren't feeling guilty for creating them, because I can't think of a nicer way to bring honor to this world.

I'm going to miss your artwork and stories, but you do what you need to do.

(sniff) Now it's two things bothering me, Smurf Movie 2010 and then Vic George's Imaginarium stuff about to be removed. I'm crying on the inside. I'll miss your art.

Vic, I do hope that you plan on retaining the artwork and stories you've already done. Who knows, maybe in a few years' time you'll feel justified in putting them back up again. I loved the way you depicted baby smurf and some of that has influenced and inspired my own work.

Sadly I don't plan to retain any of my Smurf artwork and stories. I feel that my work in this area is done.

This is sad! I don't get why this is happening!!! (cries on the outside) Now I'm crying on the outside! A lot!
Looks like I'm going to have to pause doing smurf art for around five to eight days but, of course I'm not going to delete my art! Why would I do this?

I agree with everyone here, Vic. This won't be the same without your art and stories. After all, your work has incentived many Smurf fans - I'm myself an example - to post their own ones. I wish you changed your mind, but if you are sure that's really what you want to do...

Well, I had to admit, but I too will miss the Empath pics and stories. And I especially had to admit that the "Empath through the ages" pics on pg. 6 in the Smurf Art Showcase, they're indeed really splendid. And it would be smurfy if Empath was in his Island Of Sodor form, wearing his usual black with stars smurf hat and trousers but with also a black with stars T and a dark blue vest, and the words below it would say; "Island Of Sodor Empath". And that would be my final request. But alas, it won't happen.
Anyway, smurfy luck on your unknown future, Vic. Adios, amigo.

(crying) Well, at least there are more good artists but one of them gone is still very, very, very sad! (sniff) It looks like Wild Smurf in the Smurfing Class for my Hefty performing Oingo Boingo works will start in about six to nine days! Sorry it is going to be a long wait! It is because once again, I have two issues which is Smurfs' Movie 2010 & The Uncertain Fate of VG's Imaginarium! I don't want to frustrate you all Hefty & Oingo Boingo fans but, I'm crying!

Never mind, I calmed down because of a new thing! (slows down crying)
It's a good thing that just happened, if you want to post videos, ".mov" support is finally added! ![[Happy Smurf]](graemlins/Happy_Smurf.gif)

Wow, I'm sorry to hear you are pulling all of your Empath stuff. This has been a character you have had since the early to mid 80s. I'm sorry to see it all go. But like the others have said, you must do what you feel is right. Perhaps you can just work on regular standard Smurf artwork instead of the Luckiest Smurf stuff?
