I don`t remember the episode`s title, but the plot took place in a castle that was..."living". It was a haunted and twisted place, where even furniture were able to move and chase you through halls. The castle was making it`s apperance every 500 years. Thtat`s where the characters you`re asking for, made their firs apperance.

"The Lost Smurf" was the episode you're thinking of. The castle was called Castle Captive.
