Like the topic says, these are Smurfs that didn't quite make the final cut.
Viking Smurf - Everyone agreed, even though the show did take place in the Middle Ages, that a Smurf that run around chopping off heads and setting fire to houses wouldn't sit well with younger audiances.
Lumberjack Smurf - He was kicked out of Smurf Village after he wouldn't stop borrowing Smurfette's clothes without her permission.
Gassy Smurf - One tragic night, he got a little too close to the cooking fire.
Any others?

Streaker Smurf would be a better name for the character. And speaking of streaking, one of my EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf short story ideas was Empath and Polaris dealing with Smurfs who were...uh, trying to get "really comfortable" on a hot summer day. Of course, this is before Chlorhydris comes up with one of her dastardly plans to destroy happiness again -- and that plan basically involves an adaptation of the old story "The Emperor's New Clothes".

From what I've heard recently, the surviving Culliford family is thinking about making Vanity gay, just as J.K. Rowling had Dumbledore be gay in her Harry Potter books. One of my EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf short story ideas was along this particular line, crossing Vanity's story with the classic one about The Ugly Duckling where the two characters end up finding themselves by helping each other out in their own goals or something. But nowadays, given my current beliefs, the outcome of such a story, if I ever decide to get this written out in full, will be totally different in regards to what happens to Vanity. Hefty and Tapper would be interesting characters whose viewpoints about homosexuality will be addressed in that kind of story -- Hefty from the view of a worldly kind of man, and Tapper from the view of a Christian kind of man.
However, the one thing I refuse to do is write any "slash literature" regarding two male characters or two female characters. Brainy and Clumsy basically remain good friends in my EMPATH stories and nothing else beyond that. And as far as Empath and Polaris, the only "intimate" thing they have going on with each other is that they share thoughts with each other and that's as far as it goes!

Um guys, you're getting off track from the original purpuse of these thread, which is to make up Smurfs that didn't make it into the show for some reason or other.
Goth Smurf - Exiled for contantly playing My Chemical Romance, at full volume, while everyone else was trying to work and/or sleep.
Printer Smurf - He paid more attention to Smurfette walking than what he was doing, and ended up on the first page of the final edition.

Sorry for the off-topic rant. BTW, I have a Printer Smurf in one of my EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf short stories. He basically just prints out paper.
