Is the last season of the smurfs with the time travel for real? or is it a dream??
i dont think it can be real because they cant be all those different people in different places, it must be a dream.

Very real. And to me, one of the signs that a cartoon show is on the decline.

What i mean is how can there be 10 different Gargamels for instance. How can they be in different places and different times?? There is only 1 gargamel, and he isn't in egypt and all those other places and times.
It just doesn't make sense unless it is a dream. Then it makes total sense.

They're most likely just avatars, or simple manifestations of Gargamel's being as separate entities through the various time periods that were visited. Then again, it could just have been the result of bad writing creeping in.

I think calling them simply avatars is a much better answer than calling them his ancestors.
Although I have contemplated a story where the Smurfs end up in the present-day world and were captured by a multi-millionaire descendant of Gargamel, who intends to use them for scientific purposes.

I looked up avatar in the dictionary.
1 : the incarnation of a Hindu deity (as Vishnu)
2 a : an incarnation in human form b : an embodiment (as of a concept or philosophy) often in a person
3 : a variant phase or version of a continuing basic entity

That sounds rather interesting...I too am working on a story based on the smurfs in their time traveling adventure...like you, they end up in the present time...I won't give away any details, you will have to wait till I'm finished with "How Things Smurf" before I will start posting the final (time traveling) story to my mini saga ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Maybe those 10 Gargamel`s are just placed in 10 different time lines, and everyone of them is independent from eachother.
