Has anyone out there ever seen or heard of a Smurf card game? It's played a bit like slapjack I think. I'm REALLY interested on getting my hand on a set of these cards. Anyone have them, or know where I can find them? Thanks, Troll

I picked up this game last November. It is called The Smurfs Card Game, and it is quite smurfy. Papa Smurf told me he'd post a digitized copy soon.

Keep on Smurfing!!!

Thanks for your quick reply! My two babysitters played the game at graduation this year, and it looked fun! Now, what's a digitized copy? I'm not very computer literate! Do you have any idea where I can BUY this particular game? Thanks again,

Troll

Hi Troll!

A digital version is simply a "scanned" copy - that is, I plan to scan in each card, along with the instructions, so anyone can play the game by simply printing the cards out on their computer.

Sassette may be able to tell you where it is still available for sale.

Papa Smurf, you sound like a very nice, and interesting man. Please let me know when you "scan" these, and maybe even what I should do to "get" them! Thanks for replying. Troll

Hi Troll!

What Papa Smurf is talking about is a "scanner". It looks a lot like a photocopier, and it makes copies just like a photocopier. But the copies do not come out on paper like on a photocopier. The copies are electronically copied to disk in the computer. When Papa Smurf finally scans all the cards in all you'll have to do is hit "print" on Netscape and you get a pretty good copy of all the cards! But he's been laid up for awhile so he hasn't done much of anything.
