Handicapped Smurfs. Wheelchair Smurf and Smurf on Crutches. This unique pair of promotional Smurfs were produced exclusively for the French organization, APF - "Association des Paralyés de France". Fix & Foxi Smurf. This Smurf figure was a promotional item for the well-known German comics, Fix und Foxi. The comic was also available in Sweden. Given as a special gift for subscribing to the magazine, this cute Smurf came wrapped in a golden box. This promo Smurf is based on the 20038 Singer Smurf figure, with the addition of the "Fix & Foxi" emblem on the front of the sheet music. The comic artist's name, Rolf Kauka is written above the Fix & Foxi logo. The inside of the sheet music reads, "Läs och ha kul" (which means, "read and have fun" in Swedish). Merkur Bank Smurf. Smurf advertises for a German bank - Merkur Bank! There were several different Smurf figures used for the Merkur Bank promotion - including 20148 Bricklayer Smurf (white pants and blue coveralls versions), 20162 Waiter Smurf (white glass and red glass versions), 20171 Handy Smurf and 20173 School Girl Smurfette. They each had the MB emblem (a balanced scale with wings and the letters "M" and "B") stamped on the back of their heads. Merkur Bank Promo Smurfs.
