Endress + Hauser Smurf. The Endress + Hauser promotional Smurf is a special Smurf made out of hard resin. The unique mold was created specifically for Endress + Hauser. There are only 3500 individually numbered pieces in existence (plus another 500 that are not numbered). This promo Smurf holds a shiny pyrometer (an instrument for measuring temperatures), wears a hard-hat, grey jacket with boots and stands on a white base. Endress+Hauser is a supplier of measuring tools and equipment for the engineering industry. This Smurf figure was used for promotion in France, Belgium and Italy in 1993. Carl Zeiss Smurf. Brainy Smurf advertises for the company Zeiss - a manufacturer of eyeglasses and optical systems. This promotional Smurf uses the 2.0006 Brainy Smurf (with red glasses) figurine with the addition of the Zeiss stamp. The back of Brainy Smurf's head reads, "Carl Zeiss W. Germany" in blue lettering.
